Founded in 1972, Iberia is the flag carrier of Spain. It operates and international network of services from its main bases of: Madrid-Barajas Airport and Barcelona El Prat Airport. It is a part of the Iberia Group, that includes Iberia Regional—operated by an independent carrier: Air Nostrum, and Iberia Express. In addition to transporting passengers and freight, Iberia Group carries out related services, such as: aircraft maintenance, handling in airports, IT systems and in-flight catering.
Iberia Group Airlines fly to over 109 destinations to 39 countries, with a further 90 destinations through code-sharing agreements with other airlines. It was confirmed that there will be a merge between Iberia and British Airways, making the combined operation the third largest commercial airline in the world by revenue. The deal was approved on November 2010, and the newly merged company: International Airlines Group (IAG), was established in January 2011. However, both airlines will continue to operate under their current brands.

What people are saying
Good and Bad, or probably Average. These are the summarization of the reviews coming from the customers of Iberia. Most of them talks about the lack of customer service, sturdy and narrow seats (for some), and even bad catering. However, customers are pointing out how fast and smooth their flight were, even though most of them are complaining with how some of the airline’s staff neglects them or assisted them unprofessionally, still, they admire the airline’s fast, smooth and safe flight. Here’s one of my favorite reviews coming from Iberia’s customer.
“the flight was delayed with 19 hours, but the logistics on the airport of Costa Rica was perfect. we were accommodated in a very modest hotel Barcelo San Jose, but there all went fast and smooth. the delayed flight itself was OK, besides the very cold and unfriendly service in the business class, seats were of modest quality, entertainment was OK, food was not tasty, drinks were sparse, Iberia Business class needs a lot of improvement.. rerouting in Madrid was perfectly organised”

The combination of white background and vibrant colour of red tabs and panels, added with the large photos the decorates the website’s interface, really makes Iberia’s website look interesting. In the website, customers are allowed to make an online check-in, search and book flights, check for hotels and car rental bookings, and even avail their flight and hotel or Flight and Car (Rental) promos. Just fill out the fields given on the website and you can make your search and other travel queries. You can visit the website and make your signup by clicking this link.
Ibera offers three cabin classes, mainly: Economy, Premium Economy and Business Class. Travelers can choose any of these classes that fits their budget and preference, as for the comfortability of each class; reviews coming from their passengers are somehow divided into different perspective. Though most of the reviews tells that the airline has comfy seats with enough legroom and satisfying foods, drinks and snacks; you can still check other reviews by clicking this portal.

I would say that Iberia airline is a decent airline that accommodates its passengers the best way possible. Although, they need to focus themselves in assisting their passengers, professionally and cheerfully. Upgrade their seats and clean their facilities. Overall, the airline offers good service, especially when it comes to the flight travel itself. Which is (according to their passengers) fast and smooth.
