Bogota Eldorado Airport has made some new constructions and renovations lately, that made its passengers well favorable of the airport’s new look and ambiance. Thus, several positive feedbacks from the airport’s customers are posted throughout the internet, giving Bogota Eldorado Airport an impression of being the best airport, in Latin America. Here are some of reviews I’ve read and gathered:

Bogota Eldorado Airport

Beautiful brand new airport. Still under renovation but quite a pleasant experience to use and transit it. The domestic concourse has some shopping/dining choices that are still insufficient in variety and space. Once all of the remodeling/expansion work is done this airport will definitely become a must-consider even if your destination is Colombia or another country. One of the best airports I have ever used. Highly recommended.”

Bogota Eldorado Airport

The Airport is modern and clean. It is the best in South America and is better than many airports in the USA. The immigration staff are fast and friendly and luggage delivery time is excellent. My only criticism of the Airport is that it is too grey and it does not have enough greenery (indoor plants etc.) in a country that is so green and colourful.”
—Abdulla Alkhatib (United States)

I was very surprised by the quality of this airport. It’s nice and has everything you need. The staff are very courteous and at every corner there is someone to help you. The staff starting from the airlines agents customs duty free and shops are excellent. The airport was absolutely clean and totally new renovation that makes for me one of the tops in the world. I live close by Düsseldorf and I’m proud of this small airport.”

Aesthetics

As what I’ve said: New constructions and renovations are presently underway at the airport’s terminal area. Once completed, the new terminal will be known as Terminal 1 (T1). The T1 building is shaped like an “h” and is divided in two concourses. The international Pier on the North side and the Domestic Pier on the south. The new terminal has three airline lounges, the international concourse, as well as the food plaza, several souvenir and retail stores, cafes, as well as car rental facilities, ticket counters, ATMs, telephone booths, restrooms, luggage storage space and even a small casino.

Bogota Eldorado Airport

The airport is the most important airport in Colombia, accounting for 49% of the total air traffic in the country. It handles all domestic and international flights into Bogota.
